5 Of The Hottest Bond Girls Of All Time

Throughout his many, many years-long career, James Bond has been accompanied by a parade of captivating counterparts, ranging from Halle Berry to Léa Seydoux

With the news of Aaron Taylor Johnson possibly taking on the iconic role of 007, speculations have been raised on who the British actor paired against. While we’ll leave that task to Twitter, today we’re taking a look at some of the most memorable Bond girls of all time.

Halle Berry as Jinx Johnson in "Die Another Day"

Halle Berry's portrayal of Jinx Johnson solidifies her as the quintessential counterpart to Bond, making her potentially the ultimate Bond Girl for the millennial generation. As a mysterious NSA agent, Jinx endures a harrowing near-death experience in a melting ice palace and ultimately engages in a sword fight aboard a plane. While Ursula Andress' Honey Ryder inspired Jinx's iconic emergence from the ocean wearing a retro bikini and a strapped-on knife, Halle Berry becomes the first Black Bond Girl to portray an important figure in the franchise.

Eva Green as Vesper Lynd in "Casino Royale"

Vesper Lynd emerges as perhaps the most intricate Bond Girl to date, harbouring many dark secrets within her rather enigmatic persona. Her tumultuous romance with Bond takes centre stage in "Casino Royale," delving into the origins of James's transformation into the suave yet emotionally distant womanizer audiences have come to know.

Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann in "Spectre" and "No Time to Die."

As the skilled psychologist and daughter of Spectre agent Mr. White, Madeleine Swann, portrayed by Léa Seydoux, is introduced in "Spectre" as Bond's charge. However, it's in the subsequent Bond film, "No Time to Die," where Swann's character gains more prominence. While Swann's character doesn't partake in the elaborate action sequences typical of the franchise, the emotional depth she brings to her relationship with Bond adds a new dimension to Daniel Craig's farewell to the role.

Ana De Armas as Paloma in “No Time To Die”

The marketing campaign for No Time to Die hinted at a more substantial role for Ana de Armas, the burgeoning star known for her appearance alongside Craig in Knives Out. However, her character Paloma, a CIA agent, only makes a single appearance in a set-piece, aiding Bond in infiltrating Blofeld’s birthday party in Cuba. However, it did leave the audience asking for more.

Diana Rigg as Tracy Bond in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"

Diana Rigg, renowned for her roles in television classics such as "The Avengers" and "Game of Thrones," delivers a masterful performance as Teresa di Vicenzo, also known as Tracy Bond, in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." Rigg's portrayal of Bond's great love adds a touch of gravitas to the character, elevating her beyond the confines of a typical Bond Girl.
