Now that the festive season is here, grooming and dressing-up need to be taken up a lot more seriously. At family gatherings and house parties, men should put equal efforts in grooming their hair. So, if the men out there are wondering what they can do to ensure that their hair is styled properly, you can follow these tips from celebrity hairstylists Aalim Hakim and Jean-Claude Biguine’s Creative Director Delphine Sarroche.

We have rounded up certain celebrity hairstyles that you can achieve simply by following these tips. Take a look at them below.

Hairstylist Hakim explains, “If you want beautiful hair like Vicky Kaushal, what you can do is blow-dry your hair. If you want volume, texture, and movement in the hair, you can blowdry with a paddle brush. If you want more clean-cut hairstyle, you can use root iron to straighten your hair and then you can apply hair gel to keep it sleek and sexy.”

“If you have beautiful salt and pepper hair like Hrithik Roshan, you can apply any matte products like clay, poutine or dust. The best way to keep salt and pepper hair is to use matte products, making them look the best. Try to avoid using any product that has shine or gloss. You can do that, but your greys will get lost somewhere. To enhance your greys, try to matte products,” recommends Hakim.

“To style your hair like Ayushmann Khurrana this festive, take a coin-sized pomade on your palm, rub it in through your hair and style it with your fingertips to create texture and volume. Otherwise, you can take a paddle brush to the sides very sleek and you can take the volume on the top. Thie festive, this is a right hairstyle to go with your ethnic wear, suggests Hakim.

Sarroche recommends, “For pushback look hair, you have to make sure about the texture. If your hair is thick enough to pushback naturally, you just have to use some clay or some cream or gel. Use a brush to come them back. If your hair is very fine, then I would suggest that you use some mousse or holding cream before you dry them. Use a blow dry brush or use a flat brush to make sure that you have volume.”

“If you have long hair, you have to make sure that you apply some nice products to make your texture beautiful. You have to make sure that your hair is dry and do basic styling but do not over style them,” suggests Sarroche.
