Toyota’s brought back the Land Cruiser 300 like an old rockstar returning for an encore, Rolls-Royce has given its Spectre the Black Badge treatment, and Audi’s RS Q8 Performance is here to remind us that SUVs can still be absolute lunatics. Meanwhile, Volvo’s XC60 gets a stylish nip and tuck, and BYD’s Sealion 7 adds more fire to the EV race. Let’s get into it.

2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Launched At ₹2.31 Crore

Toyota has reintroduced the legendary Land Cruiser 300 to the Indian market, priced at ₹2.31 crore. The iconic SUV blends its rich heritage with contemporary luxury and advanced technology. Powered by a 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine, it makes 313PS 700Nm of peak torque. Features here include 4-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sunroof, front- and rear-seat ventilation, 8-way powered driver’s seat with manual lumbar adjust, a cool box under the front centre armrest, 10 airbags, a 360-degree camera and more.  

 

Volvo XC60 Facelift Unveiled

The Volvo XC60 gets a refresh. The facelift brings a redesigned grille, updated LED headlamps, and subtle exterior tweaks. Inside, it's all about luxury with top-notch materials and Volvo’s latest Google-powered infotainment system on a 9-inch touchscreen. Safety, as always, is a Volvo signature, with an extensive ADAS suite including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and collision mitigation. Under the bonnet, it retains the 2.0-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine pushing out 254PS and 350Nm. 

 

 

Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge Unveiled

If the standard Spectre wasn’t exclusive enough, Rolls-Royce just turned it up to 11 with the Black Badge edition. Priced at around ₹3.2 crore (approx), this is the most powerful car the brand has ever made. It packs an electric motor producing 668PS and 1000Nm of torque, launching it from 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. The Black Badge treatment includes darker chrome, bespoke interior trims, and an ‘Infinity Mode’ that sharpens throttle response and delivers an even more dramatic drive. Basically, if Batman had a Rolls-Royce, this would be it. 

 

Aprilia Tuono 457 Launched At ₹3.95 Lakh

Aprilia has launched the Tuono 457, a sport-naked to go along with the RS457. Sharing its 457cc parallel-twin engine with its faired sibling, it churns out 48.3PS and 43.5Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Unlike it though, the Tuono 457 offers a more upright riding position with a flat handlebar, making it ideal for both city commutes and weekend rides. It gets a TFT instrument cluster, ride-by-wire tech, and traction control.  

 

BYD Sealion 7 Launched At ₹48.9 Lakh

BYD is doubling down on EVs in India, and the new Sealion 7 is its latest contender in the electric SUV space. Sitting in the premium segment, it packs a dual-motor setup producing 530PS, giving it enough punch to do 0-100 km/h in just over 4 seconds. The design borrows elements from its sedan sibling, the Seal, with sleek lines and a futuristic aesthetic. Inside, you get a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, a panoramic glass roof, ventilated seats, and an ADAS suite featuring 11 airbags, lane-keeping assist, and collision avoidance. With a claimed range of around 600km, the Sealion 7 is here to shake up the luxury EV game. 

 

Audi RS Q8 Performance Launched At ₹2.49 Crore

Audi’s RS Q8 Performance is proof that SUVs can be just as insane as supercars. Priced at ₹2.49 crore, it packs a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 pushing out 649PS and 850Nm of torque. That means 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds—faster than some dedicated sports cars. On the outside, it gets an aggressive honeycomb grille, sportier bumpers, and 23-inch alloy wheels, making sure it looks as fast as it is. The cabin is all about premium comfort, featuring RS sport seats, carbon fibre trims, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and Audi’s Virtual Cockpit.
