The Zenith-Andorra 500 Road Regularity Rally for classic motorbikes is back following the success of its first edition. This ongoing rally, which is open to motorcycles that have been manufactured before the year 1980, began on the 3rd of Jun, 2016 and will go on until the 5th, covering spectacular mountain routes at a specified average speed. Amidst the magnificent landscapes, the rally is an exploration of two different countries and cultures while maintaining the symbolic 500 km ride where the participants are usually guided by a digital roadbook and can experience many special, fun events, activities, guest riders and live music.

The founder of the rally Cyril Despres, a five-time Dakar winner and Zenith Ambassadoris a bike enthusiast who stated, “I am thrilled to be welcoming enthusiasts to an event that is all about friendly yet fierce competition, fine sportsmanship and amazing scenery. The Heritage Pilot ton-up perfectly embodies our style.”

According to the President and CEO of Zenith, Aldo Maganda, “it’s simply natural for Zenith to accompany Cyril and all the participants to Zenith-Andorra 500 for the second time. Beyond its role as the official timekeeper and bringing its watchmaking expertise to the competition, Zenith has become part of an enduring legend supporting the passion for classic motorbikes.”

More about the Zenith ‘Heritage Pilot Ton-Up’, an Iconic Watch for Legendary Motorbikes

Echoing the motorcycle spirit in the ‘engine’ powering of the Heritage Pilot Ton-Up edition, this magnificent model is created out of a slightly aged stainless steel, inspired by the patina of old silver pocket watches. About 45mm in diameter, the watch is elegantly masculine, is driven by exceptional mechanics and offers the automatic chronograph El Primero caliber 4069. This gives it an edge over others with an exceptional rate of 36,000 vibrations per hour and a one to tenth seconds precise chrono display.

With features such as centric hours and minutes, small seconds at nine o’clock and a chronograph, for more than fifty hours power reserve, the Zenith Heritage Pilot Ton-Up is extraordinary. Unique in terms of its detailing and finishing, the watch bracelet is created out of greasy nubuck, lined with rubber, which gives the masterpiece its vintage look and makes it all the more durable.

Equipped with a titanium pin buckle that ensures ease in terms of closing and safety, this exclusive work of art possesses precision due to its incredible mechanical movement. A closer look at the back of the watch, you’d be able to spot a ‘Salt Lake race’ styled engraving along with the Cafe Racer Spirit signature.
