Tata Avinya EV Concept Breaks Cover; Will Offer A 500km Range
Tata Motors’ New Avinya EV Concept Looks Straight Out Of The Blade Runner Universe

The production version of the Tata Avinya EV will launch in 2025, after the recently showcased Curvv SUV

Tata Motors has been on a roll. After showcasing the Curvv SUV concept, the carmaker has unveiled yet another ambitious project called the Avinya EV concept. Based on its new Pure EV third-generation architecture, the Tata Avinya EV concept promises a range of over 500km, and it’s launch is scheduled for 2025.

Sporting a crossover-SUV bodystyle, the Tata Avinya concept looks like it’s straight out of the Blade Runner movie. The front is far from cluttered, and it features a thin LED strip, which runs along with the bonnet and forms a ‘T’ in the middle. Above that sits one of the sleekest LED headlamps we’ve ever seen.

The side profile sticks to the same minimalistic design approach, with smooth lines all over, contrasted only by the large alloy wheels. The Tata Avinya EV concept gets butterfly doors and they are neatly integrated into the design thanks to the blacked-out B-pillars. At the rear, another LED strip runs across the width to form the same ‘T’ shape as the front. Also seen here are a chunky bumper and a blacked-out diffuser.

Tata has stuck to minimalism on the inside as well. The interiors are dual-tone, in beige and brown, and you get a panoramic sunroof and a flat-bottom, two-spoke steering wheel. At the centre sits a floating infotainment system with an all-digital instrument cluster. The Tata Avinya offers seating for five, with front seats that can swivel.

Tata is yet to reveal the specifications of the Avinya concept. However, it did state that the EV will have a minimum range of 500km, and that it can be charged in less than 30 minutes. As we mentioned earlier, the production version of the Tata Avinya EV concept will make its debut in 2025, after the launch of Tata Curvv.
