The Italians know how to make sexy motorcycles, and perhaps nobody makes them sexier than Ducati, the Audi-owned purveyors of two-wheeled lust. At the ongoing INTERMOT (the international motorcycle, scooter and e-bike fair) in Cologne, Ducati unveiled this, the unfeasibly good looking Icon.
The fittingly named Icon (a modern take on the classic Scrambler motorcycles of yore) is as modern as they come, with a four-stroke, oil and air-cooled L-twin cylinder engine, displacing 803cc. To be launched in 2015, along with other Scrambler editions, the Icon is intended to be a ‘friendly’ Ducati, a bike that pretty much anyone can swing a leg over and roar off on. A line of cool riding gear and other accessories is also on the cards, and the best part is that once Ducati officially sets up shop in India (which should be quite soon), you’ll be able to order one. Start saving up, then.
