Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar can hold his own in a cricket match and carry a whole game on his back, but the cricketer now needs your help for a special task locating the first car he ever bought.
Tendulkar’s first car was the iconic Maruti 800, probably the most famous Indian car of all time. In an episode of Mudit Dani’s show In the Sportlight, the former cricketer revealed that he decided to buy the car soon after he became a professional cricketer. But once his popularity and fame grew, he sold the 800 and upgraded to more luxurious cars. Now, he says he desperately wants to get the car back for sentimental reasons.
“My first car was a Maruti 800. Unfortunately, it is not with me right now. I would love to have it back again with me. So, people listening to me, feel free to contact and get in touch,” said Sachin.
He also talked about what inspired his lifelong love for cars.
“There was a massive open drive-in movie hall near my house where people used to park their cars and watch the movie, sitting in it. So I, along with my brother, used to stand in our balcony for hours to watch those cars,” he said.
