The company plans to extend its pre-booking program to Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Chennai and the National Capital Region (NCR) in the next four months.
Speaking at the launch, Rahul Sharma, Founder & Chief Revolutionary Officer, Revolt Intellicorp Pvt. Ltd, said, “I have always been a believer in challenging the conventions, and today truly changes the game for the Indian two-wheeler industry. The RV400 is the first step towards providing sustainable, affordable mobility to every Indian home. RV400 challenges every convention that riders have pertaining to the EV’s – Power, Styling and Aesthetics, Range, Battery charging infrastructure, Security, Sound and Service.”
Interestingly, Revolt Intellicorp also plans to have a connected eco-system in and around New Delhi, which will allow riders to change their RV400’s battery at Revolt mobile swap stations. When it comes to charging at home, customers can charge the electric bike’s battery in less than four hours at their home, office or anywhere with a charging point. The company says that a 15-ampere socket will do the trick. Since the battery can be removed from the bike, it’ll make for charging at home or anywhere else an easier affair.
Revolt’s AI-enabled electric bike gets an ARAI certified range of 156 kilometres. The RV400 is powered by the Revolt App which is available on both Android and iOS. When it comes to connectivity features, Revolt will enable features like Bike Locator, door-step battery delivery, mobile swap stations, anti-theft measures and more. One thing which is particularly cool is the fact that customers can change the exhaust note as per their taste!
The RV400 will also gets features which will allow customers to check real-time bike information (battery percentage, bike mode, estimated range), start the bike remotely with Bluetooth, access user trips and details (average speed, total distance travelled, time taken), check bike diagnostics & statistics and also checking the range in each of the driving modes.
Revolt Intellicorp says that the AI-enabled motorcycle will hit the roads next month, we’ll have more updates about this intriguing all-electric bike once it is officially launched in India.
