The Royal Enfield Interceptor and the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 are two of the most good-looking motorcycles in our market right now. However, if you still want to boost their oomph factor, folks at MK Designs have come up with a new body kit that you can install at home.
Called the FF650 Cafe R Bolt-on Fit kit, MK Designs claims the DIY kit can be “installed in under 120 minutes,” with the most basic of tools you can find in your shed.
And no, it’s not just you. The bolt-on kit does share an eerie resemblance to the recently unveiled Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR.
The FF650 was created in collaboration with two different custom houses: Bespoke India, which handled the concept and design and One Cars, which took care of the paint and detailing. Meanwhile, MK Designs was tasked with manufacturing the components.
MK says the kit is compatible with all the colour Royal Enfield colour options. The bolt-on kit is made entirely out of fibreglass reinforced plastic, weighing just 7kg, which is quite impressive, considering the details on display here.
This includes a 5.75 inch round headlight, top faring, side panels, and a belly pan. The company further claims that all of this can be installed without any welding or grinding.
For the GT 650 Cafe Racer, the kit comes with a 25mm handlebar lowering kit, for a more aggressive riding position. Although, we’d recommend you step up your gym workouts, before buying it.
Right, what about the pricing? MK Designs have slapped a sticker of Rs 31,490 for the Interceptor 650 kit and Rs 29,990 for the Conti GT 650. In case you want to opt for one, MK says it’ll take around three weeks to produce upon order.
