Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica Launched In India At An Eye-Watering Price
Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica Launched In India

We’re talking about 0-100kmph coming up in 3.2 seconds

Two months after driving in the Aventador Ultimae, the Raging Bull of Bologna has brought the Huracan Tecnica to our shores today. Priced at Rs 4.04 crore (ex-showroom), the Tecnica is positioned right between the standard EVO and the more track-focused STO version.

Globally unveiled in April 2022, the Tecnica borrows many design cues from the Sian hybrid hypercar, including an overall angular bodywork along with an updated front and rear fascia. The new bits here also include a carbon-fibre bonnet, a prominent diffuser and a fixed rear spoiler, which as per the company, helps in achieving 35 per cent more downforce.

Under the hood, the Tecnica is powered by the same V10 motor seen on the STO. This 5.2-litre, naturally aspirated engine makes 640PS of power and 565Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed DCT. That translates to 0-100kmph coming up in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 325km. This power can be modulated by toggling between three driving modes – Strada, Sport and Corsa, with the Sport tuned for more oversteer.

Putting this power in check are carbon ceramic brakes, which come with cooling deflectors and calliper ducts. Apart from this, there are also the Damiso 20-inch diamond cut wheels with Bridgestone Potenza sport tyres.

The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica will go up against the recently launched Porsche 911 GT3 RS, the McLaren 720S and the Ferrari F8 Tributo. Once McLaren sets up shop in India, the Huracan will also have to compete against the Artura.
