Kanye West’ New Yemobile Looks Suprisigly Like The Batmobile
Step Aside Batman, Kanye’s Got The Yemobile

Kanye West’s new set of wheels produce 332hp, over 400Nm and can cover 0-100kph in a blink of an eye.

It’s been a rough couple of months for Kanye, or should we call him ‘Ye’ now? The rapper, however, has been keeping himself busy lately, with the upcoming release of Donda 2 and the Paris Men’s Fashion Week Show.

In between all of that though, Ye has bought himself a new pair of wheels that cost him a hefty change of half a million dollars and it looks surprisingly like the ride of a certain caped crusader. Here’s everything we know about Kanye’s latest Batmo..err..no..the “Yemobile.”

It’s officially called a ‘BAC Mono’ and it’s super rare.

The ‘Yemobile’ is based on a Briggs Automotive Company’s second-gen ‘Mono.’ BAC specializes in single-seater road-legal sports cars, and have only 12 dealerships across four continents. So yes, it is super rare to sight these.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Kanye!

There is no doubt Kanye will be grabbing all the attention when he takes this for a spin. The Mono Gen 2 is inspired by the Mono R, which was showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2019. It features centrally-mounted headlights, twin-strut wing mirrors, a narrow tail with LEDs flanked by them and a carbon-fibre steering wheel.

It drips in premium-ness

BAC has made sure to save weight as much as they can. Every part of the Mono2 is made out of Graphene-enhanced carbon fibre, which not only helps in improving its structural properties but also helps in keeping the weight down.

More than 40 of its components are 3D-printed, including the engine inlet. Suspension is provided by Ohlins, and wheels by Pirelli Trofeo R high-performance tires. Speaking of which, the generative-design wheels, made in collaboration with Autodesk, tip the scale at 2.2kg each.

It packs a punch

We’ve taken a look at the second-gen Mono’s spec sheet and they are no joke. Powering it is a 2.3-litre, four-cylinder Mountune engine, producing a whopping 332hp  and “in excess of” 400Nm. This is the same 2.3-litre EcoBoost turbo engine seen in Ford vehicles. Nestle that in a body which weighs just 580kg and you have some serious fire power.

Nought to 100kph? In the blink of an eye

As much as Kanye loves Kanye, Kanye also hates paparazzi. That isn’t a surprise. Thanks to the new Yemobile though, we doubt any camera flashes will be able to catch him. The single-seater can sprint from 0-100kph in just 2.7 seconds, and reach a top speed of 274kph. That’s hypercar territory!

Cost a pretty penny

It’s super rare, it’s got the looks and it’s fast. Of course, it’s going to cost a fortune. Each unit retails for around $220,000, and that’s just the starting price.
