Jaguar Land rover has launched the refreshed 2016 Range Rover Evoque. While the update seems to be a mild one, the Evoque does get a few key design changes, a few new features and a very attractive price tag thanks to the increased localised assembly.  The 2016 Evoque comes in 4 variants with prices starting at Rs 47.1 lakh for the base, ‘Pure’ variant and going all the way upto Rs 63.2 lakh for the top-end ‘HSE Dynamic’ variant.

The Evoque gets a revised bumper with greater air intakes, a new set of LED fog-lamps, redesigned daytime LEDS and a few new colour schemes along with a new set of grille designs. There are a few other innovative luxury features which have made their way to the new car, chief of which is the ‘Gesture Tailgate’ mechanism which allows you to pop the tailgate by waving your foot under the bumper. You also get the option of Configurable Mood Lighting, with a range of ten colours that can be controlled through the dash mounted touch-screen unit to suit your particular mood.

The car is equipped with the same 2.2 litre, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine which makes 187 bhp with 42 kgm of torque. The car also comes with Land Rover’s 3 year/100,000 km warranty.
