Vazirani Automotive is an Indian company which is launching the country’s first Hypercar – an extreme, high speed, limited production, concept car for the road, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the United Kingdom this week.

“After graduating from the Art Center College in California, and gaining experience from around the world by working at Rolls-Royce, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo and Yamaha, the question ‘why not from India?’ consumed me,” Chunky Vazirani, the founder and chief designer at Vazirani Automotive says.

With a vision in mind, Vazirani founded his company in 2015 and began working tirelessly to make that vision a reality.

“Our car features the latest technology that hasn’t yet been implemented in the world. We are integrating a micro-turbine range extender coupled with a light-weight battery pack. The micro-turbine acts as an onboard generator to charge the batteries. Together, it addresses range anxiety and also adds a sound element to give users a sensory experience, something that electric cars of today fall short on. The mission is to make an electric car so sexy and engaging, that we can transition even the most stubborn petrol heads to a cleaner future (sic),” he says.

You can catch a glimpse of our car in the teaser below:
