Hyderabad Is Gearing Up For Its First Ever Formula E Grand Prix This Weekend 

Yes, we’ll be covering all the action from the front seats

India is ready to host the first ever Formula-E race at Hyderabad on February 10, 11. 22 world class drivers from renowned teams like Jaguar TCS Racing, Maseratti, Mclaren and Mahindra, among others.

 

Spanning 2.37km, the street track located alongside the Hussain Sagar Lake is expected to witness some high-speed racing action this weekend. Ticket prices range from Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,500 for Grandstand and Ace Grandstand respectively. You can also opt for the Ace Lounge package worth Rs 1.25 lakh!

 

Heading into round 4, Avalanche Andretti leads team rankings, followed by Porsche, McLaren, Envision and Jaguar TCS Racing. Jaguar TCS Racing driver Sam Bird is currently at 4th in drivers’ rankings and we’ll be dropping by his paddock on February 10. Stay tuned.

Hyderabad, 06 February 2023 – Jaguar TCS Racing will debut their Jaguar I-TYPE 6 in India this weekend, as the 2023 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship takes to the streets of Hyderabad for the first time.  

 

Lights will go green at 15:00 local time on Saturday 11 February at the Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix, the first of four brand new race locations for Season 9 of the all-electric world championship. The race comprises of 32 laps of a 2.83km street circuit, positioned on the banks of the heart-shaped Hussain Sagar Lake.  

 

Drivers Mitch Evans and Sam Bird are aiming to secure further points and podiums following positive performances at the Diriyah double-header in January. In rounds two and three, Sam secured third and fourth place positions, while Mitch scored points after finishing tenth and seventh respectively and starred in qualifying and the early stages of round three when he led the race from the first corner.
