5 Highest-Selling SUVs In February 2024

Tata Punch again leads the charge, followed by the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

The SUV market witnessed an interesting development in February, with the all-new Tata Punch claiming the top spot, surpassing the recently updated Tata Nexon. However, it was Maruti Suzuki that proved to be the biggest winner, contributing to over 50 per cent of the top 25 selling cars in February. That said, here are the highest-selling SUVs of last month. 

 

Tata Punch

Following its meteoric rise last month, the Tata Punch again edged ahead of the Nexon, registering a whopping 18,438 units last month. This was a YoY increase of a healthy 65 per cent, after selling 11,169 units in the same month of 2023. 

 

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

Following closely behind and climbing up a spot this month was the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, which sold 15,765 units in February. In comparison, the Maruti Suzuki SUV sold 15,303 units in January 2024.

 

Hyundai Creta

The popularity of the Hyundai Creta has been on the rise again, it appears. The SUV registered 15,276 units in February, an increase of 47 per cent compared to last year. Hyundai is now gearing up to launch the sportier Creta N-Line in the upcoming days. 

 

Mahindra Scorpio

Maintaining its popularity among the masses and Rohit Shetty fans, the Scorpio registered 15,051 units in February, an uptick of 117 per cent compared to last year. The Scorpio also sold more units last month, compared to Jan’s 14,293 units sold. 

 

Tata Nexon

Sliding down the ranking, but barely was the highest-selling SUV of last year, the Tata Nexon, which registered 14,395 units in February. Tata extensively updated both the ICE and EV versions of the Nexon last year. For our detailed impression, click here
