Sadhguru UK to India Journey: A Look At His Impressive Garage
Four Other Rides From Sadhguru’s Garage That Can Easily Undertake His 30,000km Journey From The UK To India

Sadhguru is the proud owner of a garage that houses a Ducati, a Beemer and more!

On Monday, Jaggi Vasudev, famously known as Sadhguru, set out on a 30,000km journey from the UK to India, as a part of his ‘Save Soil; awareness campaign. The 64-year-old yoga guru will spend the next 100 days astride the BMW K1600 GT motorcycle, navigating through Europe and the Middle East.

While many have chalked off this endeavour as a part of a good cause, most are seemingly surprised by Sadhguru’s motorcycling skills. Many do not know that apart from imparting life wisdom, he also holds a deep passion for automobiles. Don’t believe us? Let’s take a brief look at his garage.

Cars

Mercedes–Benz G-Class G 63 AMG (Rs 2.44 crore)

The ‘Save Soil’ awareness campaign isn’t Sadhguru’s first rodeo on wheels. Back in 2017, his Isha Foundation arranged a Rally for Rivers programme, which saw him drive his Mercedes Benz G63 AMG from Kanyakumari to Haridwar. With the creature comforts offered on the Merc, we bet he had a rather comfortable time. The Merc is powered by a 5461cc, V8 twin-turbo petrol engine, which makes 551hp of power and 760Nm of torque.

1000PS Toyota Scion (Not available in India)

Apart from being a poet, yogi and New York Times bestselling author, Sadhguru also fancies himself as a track enthusiast. In a video titled ‘Sadhguru on the Racetrack,’ the spiritual speaker can be seen taking instructions from Christian Rado, a professional racing driver, before taking the car for a spin himself.

Speaking of which, the heavily modified car in the video is called the Toyota Scion. It is said to make around 1000hp of power and reach a top speed of 338kph. While exact details aren’t known, the car seems to be sporting a big turbocharger, larger brakes, a new suspension setup and custom-built intake and exhaust.

Motorcycles

BMW K 1600 GT (Rs 29.98 lakh)

For his 30,000km solo journey to India, Sadguru has taken the help of his steady steed: the BMW K 1600 GT. Not only the Beemer sports all the bells and whistles necessary for a long ride like this, but it is also packed with a decently powerful engine. Powering it is a 1.6-litre, six-cylinder engine which makes 160hp of power and 174Nm of torque.

Ducati Multistrada 1260 (Rs 21.42 lakh)

Along with the BMW tourer, Sadhguru also owns an Italian mile muncher. And just like the K 1600 GT, the Multistrada 1260 also comes with a whole host of rider-friendly features such as different riding modes, semi-active suspension, wheelie control, quick shifter and more. Powering it is a 1262cc L-Twin motor which makes 158hp at 9500rpm and a peak torque of 129.5Nm.

Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled (Rs 10.89 lakh)

Yet another impressive addition to his garage is the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled. In fact, back in 2018, a video of Sadhguru and Baba Ramdev on the Scrambler went viral. The Italian motorcycle not only looks the part but also packs a punch. Powering it is an 803cc air-cooled motor, which makes 76hp of power and 66.2Nm of torque.
