Exciting Two-Wheeler Launches Of August

From an Ola Motorcycle to the updated Royal Enfield Classic 350, August is about to get heated up in terms of new launches

Compared to the high-octane action of last year, this year’s two-wheeler space has been seemingly quiet. While we did get a bunch of new offerings, both premium and affordable, nothing has yet quite left a mark. But that is perhaps until now. The month of August appears to be packed with a bevvy of motorcycle and scooter launches, some expected, some straight from the future.

The Classic 350 last received a major update when it was launched with the updated J-series engine. Since then, the same motor has also been seen on the recently launched all-new Bullet. However, in the coming weeks, the Chennai-based bikemaker will be updating the Classic 350 with new features, and colour options, to keep things fresh.

BSA Motorcycles, the iconic British brand, is set to return to India with the launch of the BSA Gold Star 650 on August 15, 2024. The retro roadster features striking colour schemes and is powered by a 650cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 45.6PS and 55Nm. It boasts a 41mm telescopic fork with covers, 5-step preload adjustable twin-shock absorbers, a circular halogen headlight, a twin-pod instrument cluster with digital insets, a handlebar-mounted USB port, and an engine immobilizer.

TVS has something special in store for us this month, it seems. The Hosur-based manufacturer might either be coming up with a new and updated version of the Jupiter 110 or perhaps launch a revised version of its NTorq scooter. While details are still sparse, expect features like a revised design, new cosmetics, and additional features to make the list.

Ola Electric will be stepping into the future this Independence Day. CEO Bhavish Aggarwal recently teased an Ola Electric bike with an upright riding posture and a visible battery pack. The company plans to launch several bike variants by early 2025. On August 15, 2024, we anticipate Ola Electric will provide a more concrete launch timeline for its first bike and possibly showcase it.
