After its announcement of launching 24 new products this year, the company has brought the BMW F850 GS and the F850 GS Adventure to India.
While the BMW F850 GS has been launched at Rs 12.50 lakh, its more adventurous sibling carries a price of Rs 13.25 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Both the motorcycles comes to India via the CBU route, which should explain their high price tag.
In terms of design, both the F850 GS And F850 GS Adventure get the same distinctive asymmetrical headlights seen on the bigger GS models, along with off-road-specific bits like raised suspension, hand-protector bars and more.
Both motorcycles come equipped with a 6.5-inch full-colour TFT display with Smartphone connectivity, multiple riding modes like Rain, Road, Dynamic and Enduro, along with DTC dynamic traction control and ABS.
BMW will also offer the F 850 GS and the 850 GS Adventure with a Style Rally Package and a Style Triple Black Package, which not only adds more power and torque into the mix but also provide the option of additional equipment.
Powering the two BMW motorcycles is the same 853 cc, 2-cylinder engine which makes 96hp and 92Nm of torque. As per BMW India, deliveries of the motorcycles will commence in June 2022.
