Featuring a rather extensive update, the Vantage gets an all-new dashboard, a new software platform, and a major design change. However, under the hood, it continues to be powered by the same Mercedes-AMG-sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, which now produces 665PS of power, helping it sprint from 0-100kmph in just 3.4 seconds.
Jeep Wrangler facelift
After many teasers, Jeep India has finally launched the updated Wrangler, with a starting price of Rs 67.65 lakh for the Unlimited and reaching Rs 71.65 lakh for the Rubicon variants, marking a Rs 5 lakh increase across the range (all prices, ex-showroom). Both models feature new black grilles and 17-inch alloy wheels, maintaining the previous colour options like Sarge Green and Firecracker Red. The Rubicon retains its distinctive badges and decals, distinguishing it as the more rugged variant. Under the hood, the Wrangler gets the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine which churns out 270PS and 400Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed torque converter.
BMW i5
BMW India launched the i5 a couple of days ago for Rs 1.20 crore (ex-showroom, India). Arriving via the CBU route, the i5 will be offered in the top-spec M60 xDrive variant. Equipped with an 83.9kWh (81.2kWh usable) battery pack, the BMW i5 M60 xDrive variant delivers a WLTP range of 516km on a single charge.
