The Indian luxury market is on a meteoric rise and is finally being noticed, case in point is Bentley’s first-ever Mulliner Bespoke Edition range of cars. Consisting of the likes of the Continental GT Speed, Flying Spur Speed and three of the Bentayga EWB Azure models. Each comes with a striking green interior called “Scarab Green” finish.
On the inside, a similar level of bespoke customization can be seen, with exclusive Mandarin orange and Cumbrian Green interiors paying homage to India’s national colours. Additionally, other highlights here feature piano veneer seen on the fascia and trim, along with a chrome motif featuring wild horses and mountain peaks.
All five models were crafted between the marquee’s Mumbai team and the global Mulliner team, to celebrate Bentley's first Mulliner bespoke edition for the Indian market. Mechanically though, all five models remain unchanged.
For instance, the Continental GT Speed features the same 659 PS engine, but comes with the bespoke Scarab Green exterior. Meanwhile, the Flying Spur Speed: gets a potent 626 PS 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine, and also comes with a Scarab Green exterior, diamond knurling, and Naim for Bentley audio system.
Coming to the Bentayga EWB, the Opulence Edition models feature a four-seat configuration with the Mulliner console bottle cooler dividing the rear seats. Mandarin contrast stitching adorns the fascia while the Cumbrian Green seat bolsters, while Cumbrian Green stitching accents the outer diamonds of the quilted seat inner areas and the Azure-embroidered headrests.
Equipped with the Bentley Dynamic Ride 48V active anti-roll control system, the Opulence Edition Bentayga EWB Azure “ensures an optimal balance between ride comfort, handling, and body control, providing a serene sanctuary of tranquillity and luxury,” as per the British marquee.
The pricing details for the Bentley Opulence Editions remain undisclosed and are unlikely to be revealed. However, it's expected that they will command a significant premium over the standard models due to the extensive interior and exterior customization options available from Mulliner's catalogue. Nevertheless, with only five limited edition vehicles available, it wouldn't be surprising if all of them were already sold out.
