Benelli returns to the country with its new partnership with Adishwar Auto Ride India, part of the Hyderabad-based Mahavir Group.
The Italian bike-maker has entered the adventure tourer segment with the release of the TRK 502 and the TRK 502 X. Both bikes are in the 500 cc power segment and have are priced at ₹ 5 lakh for the standard version, while the TRK 502 X is priced at ₹ 5.40 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
The TRK 502 will be offered in two variants: Standard – which will be the road-friendly version with alloy wheels and road spec tyres, and the TRK 502 X which is the off-road version, which comes with spoked wheels and dual purpose tyres.
The adventure bike segment is doing pretty well in India with the Royal Enfield Himalayan at the top. The TRK’s other competitors are Suzuki V-Storm, Kawasaki Versys, SWM Superdual T and BMW 310GS.
The bikes are available for a booking amount of ₹ 10,000 online on the company’s website, while deliveries will begin around April this year.
