Bollywood’s power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are one of the internet’s favourite duos in India. They often set what the stans call ‘relationship/couple goals.’ Their car collection though is the latest topic of conversation on the internet, especially after the acquisition of the new Lamborghini Urus Pearl Capsule Edition.
The super SUV was launched in India a couple of months back, commanding a price tag of Rs 3.43 crore (ex-showroom). It derives power from a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbocharged engine that goes up to 650 PS. It can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds.
This particular model has been customised with two-tone exteriors, in orange and black. The shiny black gloss theme extends from the roof to the lower bumpers, rocker covers, rear diffuser and spoiler lip as well as the tailgate rims. It’s the latest addition in the couple’s elaborate car collection.
Lamborghini Urus
Ranveer has frequently been seen driving the carmaker’s first ever SUV; some reports indicate that he owns the car, but others believe that Lambo had loaned it out to him for a period. As for specs, the car comes with the same central motor as the Pearl Capsule edition. It costs around Rs 3 crore (ex-showroom).
Aston Martin Rapide S
Ranveer had reportedly gifted himself (or was gifted) this Rs 3.29 crore (ex-showroom)-worth big toy on his 32nd birthday. The couple has been spotted on more than one occasion in this set of wheels, which is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 engine. It generates over 550PS of power and a peak torque of 620 Nm.
Jaguar XJ L
The L in the name represents the extra long size of this super-luxury Jag. No wonder, it’s not seen too commonly in Mumbai’s infamous limited parking spaces and bumper-to-bumper traffic. The sedan offers a bunch of powertrain options, but Ranveer and Deepika have the one with a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. Powered with an 8-speed DCT, it produces almost 300PS.
Mercedes-Mayback S500
One of the fanciest Mercs available in India, this one is Deepika’s preferred commute, if we go by public sightings. Her model draws power from a 4.7-litre engine that puts out a max of 450-plus NM. This variant is priced at almost Rs 2 crore (ex-showroom).
