First Trailer Of 'Lamborghini: The Man Behind The Legend' Promises Intense Automotive Action
New ‘Lamborghini’ Biopic Promises To Show The Intense Rivalry Between Ferrari And Lamborghini

It joins the long list of recent auto-focused movies like Ford vs Ferrari and the upcoming Senna biopic

If you’ve ever wanted a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most intense automobile rivalries of all time, here’s your chance. The first trailer of the new Lamborghini biopic, titled Lamborghini: The Man Behind The Legend has just dropped. The movie, which was in production since 2016, is scheduled to release on November 18, 2022.

Starring Frank Grillo in the lead (whom you may know as crossbones from the MCU), the biopic features a wide array of Oscar winners like Mira Sorvino (Mighty Aphrodite, Quiz Show) and Bobby Moresco (writer for Crash and producer on Million Dollar Baby). As you can expect, the movie will tell the story of the house of the raging bull and how it reached its peak of popularity today.

The movie will also feature Enzon Ferrari as Ferruccio Lamborghini’s “nemesis.” He’ll be played by Gabriel Byrne, from The Usual Suspects and End of Days fame. Of course, no Lamborghini movie is complete without its cars. From the trailer alone, we can see the iconic Countach making a presence along with the Miura. Then there is also the 350GT, a couple of Ferraris, and even a Porsche 356.

Here’s what the official synopsis reads like – “Hoping to beat longtime rival Enzo Ferrari, Ferruccio Lamborghini tries to get his untested car prepped for a victory at the upcoming Geneva Grand Prix.”

While speaking about the film all the back in 2016, producer Andrea Iervolino said: “I am very proud to produce a film about an iconic man who had such a profound impact around the world and left a legacy that lives on in such strong spirit. Ferruccio Lamborghini was a pioneering businessman who brought honor to Italy and helped raise worldwide awareness.”

As we mentioned earlier, the movie is set to debut in both theatres and streaming services on November 18, 2022. It’ll join the ranks of recent automobile-focused biopics such as ‘Ford vs Ferrari’ and the upcoming Ayrton Senna biopic.
