The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V gets a shiny new upgrade with a top-tier variant featuring a 37mm USD fork—in gold (coloured), no less. This makes it the priciest Apache 160 4V at ₹1.40 lakh, marginally edging out the dual-channel ABS model. The mechanicals remain unchanged, with its 159.7cc engine delivering 17.55PS and 14.73Nm. Riding modes (Sport, Urban, Rain) and dual-channel ABS continue to round off the package. Sure, it’s ₹520 pricier, but can you put a price on a golden (coloured) fork?

There’s a new Austrian bike brand in town and it isn’t orange. Brixton has dropped its retro-inspired Crossfire 500 and Cromwell 1200 in India, starting at ₹4.74 lakh. The Crossfire 500 boasts a 486cc parallel-twin engine and sharp styling, while the Cromwell 1200 ups the ante with a 1,222cc parallel twin producing 82PS.

Both models cater to the current trend of nostalgia-laden rider who wants classic aesthetics paired with modern engineering. Will they carve out a niche in India’s competitive mid-capacity segment? The jury’s still out.

While the new identity plays coy on details, it’s clear this rebranding is laying the groundwork for an all-electric future. Expect to see these modernized cats purring on Indian roads soon, with the first EV unveil slated for 2024.

The band news is at its price point, it’s not for the faint of wallet.

Royal Enfield brings a new vibe to its lineup with the Goan Classic 350. Designed as a nod to Goa’s laid-back culture, this edition features retro decals and colours with ape-hanger handlebars. Powered by the same 349cc engine, the bike retains the same power figures and specs as the Classic and the Bullet 350.
