In January 2009, the first Audi R8 V10 was introduced. Fast forward 10 years later, and the model has become one of Audi’s most prized releases ever and is considered an almost perfect example of a sports car. Hence, the German carmaker has decided to celebrate a decade of the German 5.2-liter V10 excellence by releasing a limited edition R8 V10 Decennium.
Audi is putting the R8 V10 Performance Quattro through some special edition treatment, reported Motor1. The R8 V10 Decennium comes in a beautiful matte Daytona Gray shade that is contrasted by bronze rims on the 20-inch alloy wheels. The bronze accents are also applied on the engine and on the stitching of the interior seats as well.
But if you are longing for another shade other than the matte Daytona gray, the car will also be available in various other metallic shades like the Ascari Blue, Kemora Gray, Mythos Black, Floret Silver, and Suzuka Gray. The limited-edition supercar boasts an assortment of glossy black accents which is seen on the front spoiler, side sills, and rear diffuser. In a rare move, even the corporate 4-ring logo is painted in black.
Based on the range-topping R8, the V10 churns out 620 hp and a peak torque of 580 Nm. It goes from 0-100 kph in 3.1 seconds and has a maximum velocity of 331 kph.
Audi has placed a price tag of €222,000 and bookings will open in April.
