Aston Martin Valhalla Promises To Bring Formula One Speeds On Streets

Only 999 units of the supercar will be made available, each with bespoke customisation options.

Five years ago, the Aston Martin Valhalla was a mere concept, a distant promise of what the brand could achieve. Three years later, we got a preview of the production-spec design. And now? The Valhalla has finally arrived in its full mid-engined glory, with production set to kick off in the second quarter of 2025. Poised to go head-to-head with icons like the Lamborghini Revuelto and Ferrari SF90 Stradale, this is Aston Martin’s moment to remind the world why their badge still commands awe.

At the heart of the Valhalla lies a beast of an engine: a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, spitting out 828 PS—the highest specific output of any Aston Martin to date. But why stop there? Three electric motors, including two on the front axle, push the total output to a staggering 1,079 PS and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) of torque. Translation? This isn’t just a car; it’s a missile on wheels.

As Aston Martin’s first plug-in hybrid, the Valhalla debuts a new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Pair that with over 1,000 horsepower and all-wheel drive, and you get a 0–100kmph sprint in just 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 350 km/h.  Inspired by the Valkyrie, its active aerodynamics generate over 600 kg of downforce at 240kmph. Need less drag at higher speeds? Trick aero components take care of that.

Built around a carbon fibre monocoque, the Valhalla draws heavily on Aston Martin’s Formula 1 expertise. Aluminium subframes at the front and rear add rigidity, while push-rod suspension with inboard springs and Bilstein adaptive dampers keep things planted. Stopping power comes from carbon ceramic brakes: massive 410 mm discs up front and 290 mm discs at the rear.

Step inside, and the Valhalla’s interior and you’ll see raised footwells and one-piece carbon fibre seats create a low, driver-focused seating position. A flat-top and flat-bottom steering wheel, digital displays, and custom graphics round out the cockpit, which feels as futuristic as the car’s performance.

For those who demand something even more unique, the Q by Aston Martin division is ready to deliver bespoke customisation options—because exclusivity is key when only 999 examples will ever exist. Aston Martin hasn’t disclosed how much the Valhalla will set you back, but with its limited run and jaw-dropping specs, it’s safe to assume this supercar is reserved for the 1 per cent.
