Jame Bond is all about the women, the action, the gadgets and of course, her majesty. But he is also passionate about one more thing, cars. Especially, Aston Martin cars. Just like how he only sleeps with women who have daddy issues, he also only drives cars that have an Aston Martin badge.
The British carmaker has now confirmed that four Aston Martin cars will appear in the upcoming 007 film through a Twitter post. Usually, we have the honour of watching Bond drive one beautiful Aston Martin car, but since this is the 25th Bond film, the carmaker decided to raise the bar by putting four of their cars in the film that will signify the past, present and future of Aston Martin’s legacy. We will be seeing the classic Aston Martin DB5, 177 Vantage V8 Series II, DBS Superleggera and the new Valhalla supercar.
The 1977 Series II V8 Vantage had its last appearance in The Living Daylights, a James Bond film which came out more than 30 years ago. The classic DB5 was last seen in the 1964 film Goldfinger. While the other two cars are veterans, the exquisite DBS Superleggera and Valhalla are set to have their on-screen debut with this film.
The filmmakers also recently revealed the title and first poster of the film. The new film is dubbed ‘No Time To Die’ and is set to hit theatres on April 8, 2020.
