The retro resurgence trend of motorcycles appears to show no sign of stopping in 2024, with more and more bikemakers doubling down on old-school aesthetics. From the recently launched Jawa 42 FJ to the BSA Gold Star making its Indian debut, here are some of the retro-styled motorcycles you can buy right now.
Jawa 42 FJ (Rs 1.99 lakh)
The new Jawa 42 FJ, priced at Rs 1,99,142, pays homage to Jawa’s heritage with its retro-inspired design. Equipped with a 334cc, single-cylinder engine delivering 29.2PS, it features anodised cladding, dual upswept exhausts, and six colour options. BSA Gold Star 650 (Rs 2.99 lakh)
BSA’s iconic Gold Star 650 has debuted in India, priced at Rs 2,99,990 (ex-showroom) on Independence Day. While the specs on offer put it slightly below the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, it still offers a distinct retro appeal along with the biggest single-cylinder engine produced in India. Speaking of which, it features a 652cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 45.6PS of power.
2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 (Rs 1.99 Lakh)

The bike retains its 349cc single-cylinder engine, producing 20.2PS and 27Nm torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Notable updates include an LED headlight, adjustable levers, and a new instrument console.
Honda CB350 (Rs 1.99 Lakh)
Honda’s H'ness CB350, inspired by the iconic CB series, is perhaps the most popular contender in the modern classic segment today. Powered by a 348cc single-cylinder engine delivering 21PS and 30Nm torque, the CB350 offers a refined, vibe-free ride. It features full-LED lighting, ABS, a semi-digital cluster, traction control, and a slipper clutch. Priced from Rs 2.09 lakh, the CB350 also has a sportier sibling, the CB350 RS.
Benelli Imperiale 400 (Rs 2.35 Lakh)
The Benelli Imperiale 400 sticks to its neo-retro design, drawing inspiration from classic British motorcycles. It’s powered by a 374cc air-cooled engine, producing 21PS and 29Nm torque, with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike’s design and features, including a twin-pod instrument console and spoked wheels, keep it rooted in classic aesthetics. It competes with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and other retro-styled bikes.
2024 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 (Rs 1.73 Lakh)
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 retains its iconic design while upgrading to the new J-series 349cc engine, which offers the same power and torque as the Classic 350. The bike comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster, a USB port, and the same frame and suspension setup as the Classic 350.
