Motorcycles launched at the EICMA 2024 that will hit Indian Roads Soon:
Royal Enfield Electric Bike & Bear 650
Royal Enfield is set to unveil two major models that are already stirring excitement. First, its anticipated electric motorcycle, possibly named the "Flying Flea," recently had a test mule spotted in Barcelona, Spain. Although still a prototype, this bike is expected to be showcased as a concept at EICMA, hinting at Royal Enfield's leap into the electric segment. Next up is the Bear 650—a road-friendly Scrambler that stands tall with a 19-inch front wheel, knobby tyres, and a distinctive upright stance. Equipped with the trusted 648cc parallel-twin engine delivering 47.65 PS.
New-Gen KTM 390 Adventure
The KTM 390 Adventure is back with a fresh twist and greater grit. Underpinned by the new 399cc liquid-cooled engine from the Duke 390, this adventure tourer is expected in both standard and off-road-focused "Adventure R" variants. Churning out 44.86 PS and 39 Nm of torque, it’s packed with a slip-and-assist clutch and six-speed gearbox. Manufactured in India by Bajaj Auto, the new-gen 390 Adventure is set to roll out on Indian roads early next year.
Hero Xpulse 210
Hero MotoCorp’s beloved Xpulse gets an upgrade with a 210cc engine derived from the Karizma XMR. This new-gen Xpulse will officially debut at EICMA, boasting 25.49 PS and 20.4 Nm of torque, with a six-speed gearbox for smooth off-road transitions. Hero’s teaser hints at significant upgrades, cementing its place as a go-to for rugged Indian terrains.
Hero 250cc Sports/Naked Bikes
Hero’s EICMA lineup also includes two 250cc models—a sports tourer and a naked streetfighter—likely expanding the Karizma and Xtreme families. Speculated to be powered by a new liquid-cooled 250cc engine, these bikes are developed on the lines of the 2.5R Xtunt concept. With aggressive styling and performance cues, Hero is aiming to strengthen its premium lineup.
Aprilia Tuono 450
If the RS 457 was a bit too sporty for everyday use, Aprilia fans can look forward to the Tuono 457, a more comfortable choice, but still tailored for performance. With its sleek design and a potent engine speculated to produce strong mid-range power, the Tuono 450 is expected to shake up the premium middleweight segment in India, catering to riders craving high revs and agile handling.
