6 Upcoming Yamaha Motorcycles In India

Yamaha R3 Fans and critics both have been praying to Yamaha to bring the updated R3 back to our shores. The fully-faired motorcycle which was last sold here back in 2019, was showcased recently in its modern avatar. It gets a  321cc, parallel-twin engine which makes 42PS of power and 29.5Nm of torque.

Yamaha MT-03Along with its faired sibling, Yamaha also showcased the MT-03 naked motorcycle at the recently held dealer’s meet. Packing almost the same design as the MT-15 and powered by the R3’s engine, the MT-03 will rival the likes of the KTM Duke 390 here.

Yamaha R7 And MT-07We’ve known for a while that Yamaha might be launching the R7 and the MT-07 later this month. While both feature the same  689cc parallel-twin motor (73PS/63Nm), the R7 gets a more track-focused fully-faired design while the MT-07 opts for a streetfighter look.

Yamaha MT-09Yamaha seems to be doubling down on its naked lineup, with the MT-09 also being rumoured to launch alongside the MT-03 and the MT-07. As you can guess by now, the MT-09 gets a more muscular design with an 890cc inline triple-cylinder engine making 118PS of power and 93Nm of torque. It’ll primarily compete against the Kawasaki Z900 and the Triumph Street Triple 765.

Yamaha R1MThe crème de la crème of Yamaha’s lineup, the iconic R1M superbike might make a comeback on our shores soon, as per industry reports. The flagship motorcycle gets a 200PS-powered, 998cc in-line four motor along with carbon-fibre body panels and Ohlins suspension.
