Gadar 2Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 struck gold at the box office, raking in an impressive Rs.130 cr. in the opening weekend. Set against the backdrop of Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, Tara Singh’s power act and his happy ending with Sakina were well-received by the country’s movie-goers.

JailerRajinikanth's movies are known for its mass magnetic pull, and the fate of Jailer was no different. Opening with Rs. 150 cr. in its first weekend, the Tamil action-comedy movie went on to draw bigger numbers at the BO worldwide, amounting to a whopping Rs. 300 cr. globally.

PathaanHailed an ‘all-time blockbuster’, SRK’s Pathaan touched 100 cr. on its opening day, only to garner an additional 60 cr. over the weekend, bringing the figures to 160 cr. Khan’s ripped body and killer moves turbocharged the hype around the movie.

BrahmastraRanbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s sizzling chemistry in Brahmastra, followed by the rip-roaring success of the title track Kesariya, clearly spelled good news at the BO. The movie opened to a whopping Rs. 120 cr. in India, and Rs. 130 cr. overseas.

AdipurushWhile the movie failed to weave the magic it promised, Adipurush continues to be one of the most commercially successful movies in recent times. Bringing in roughly about Rs. 105 cr. in its opening week in India, the Prabhas-starrer reportedly went on to amass over 340 cr. globally.
