2023 Kia Seltos Headed To India: What’s New?

It’s (almost) finally here! Kia will be showcasing the all-new facelifted Seltos SUV on Jul 4, with prices expected to be announced later that month.

This is only the second update the SUV will be receiving since its launch in 2019, and boy is Kia making up for the lost time, with changes to the exteriors, interiors and more.

Starting with the design, recent spy shots suggest the Seltos will likely get an all-new headlamp assembly with redesigned LED DRLs along with a larger grille.

The changes are extended to the rear too with a redesigned tailgate along with a new  LED light bar, connecting the sleek-looking tail lamps.

On the inside, the cabin now features a  new twin-screen layout with a digital instrument cluster and an infotainment system.

The feature list here consists of a  panoramic sunroof, an ADAS safety suit with six airbags as standard hill-assist control, vehicle stability management and more.

Under the hood though, the 2023 Seltos will likely continue with its 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options, making 116PS and 117PS respectively. Kia is also likely to re-introduce the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit which makes 162PS of power.

Once launched, the Kia Seltos will rival the upcoming Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and more.
