A. Lange & Söhne Richard Lange Minute Repeater

 

 

Limited to just 50 pieces, A. Lange & Söhne’s Richard Lange Minute Repeater offers an unparalleled visual appeal. The complicated design is based on the traditional sound format and is developed according to superb acoustic quality standards.
Sticking to the long-standing principle of creating timepieces where the construction and design of the watch must interact, the Richard Lange Minute Repeater further perpetuates this value. It comes in a 39mm platinum case set with typical satin-finished flanks and prominently domed strap lugs.
The white-enamel dial houses a solid-gold core, which is all crafted in-house. The watch is worn on a black, hand-stitched leather strap with a platinum deployant buckle. Powering the watch is the new manually wound L122.1 movement with a power reserve of 72 hours that can be viewed via the sapphire-crystal case back.

 

Breguet Classique Dame 8068

 

 

Making a bold statement is the contemporary timepiece from Breguet called the Classique Dame. Set with a modern dial and a mechanism that allows the wearer to quickly change their straps as desired, the new collection offers multiple possibilities with just one watch. The reference 8068 comes with three interchangeable straps. This includes a standard black satin fabric strap, a teal blue and Byzantium purple strap for the white gold version, and a peacock blue and raspberry pink colour strap for the rose gold edition.
To quickly change from one strap to another, all you need to do is press the pusher located under the belt. The 30mm case structure features a bezel and lugs that house 64 brilliant-cut diamonds set with a modern mother-of-pearl dial. The crown comes with a cabochon-cut diamond. Powering the watch is the Calibre 537/3 movement with its 191 components and 45-hour power reserve.

 

Pasha de Cartier

 

 

Contemporary, despite being born in the 1980s, Cartier’s Pasha de Cartier collection is a timeless staple that has continued to inspire, create, and evolve with changing times. For this year, Cartier takes its classic Pasha de Cartier timepieces and gives them a new design. For the Pasha de Cartier with a moonphase complication, the watch comes in a 41mm steel case with a thickness of 9.55mm.
The steel crown on the side of the case is available in a blue synthetic spinel cabochon. The dial is home to an impeccably designed moonphase display with classic Cartier aesthetics. Beating inside the watch is the Cartier Calibre 1904-LU MC that offers a power reserve of 48 hours. The watch comes strapped to an Interchangeable QuickSwitch grey and blue alligator leather strap.

 

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Music Edition

 

 

Decked out in the colours of the music world, the new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Music Edition is presented in five new models. These new Royal Oak Offshore editions are available in two sizes of 37mm and 43mm and in different materials: two in titanium, two in gem-set 18-carat white gold, and one in black ceramic.
Paying tribute to its musical roots, the watches feature the classic Tapisserie dial bearing the pattern of an equaliser (or VU meter) usually found in recording studios. Beating at the heart of these models is the Calibre 5909 for the 37 mm studios. Beating at the heart of these models is the Calibre 5909 for the 37 mm and Calibre 4309 for the 43mm editions. The former has a power reserve of 60 hours while the latter clocks in a power reserve of 70 hours.

 

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Flyback

 

 

Making a statement is Carl F. Bucherer with the launch of its stunning and colourful lineup of five 40mm new Manero Flyback watches. After its successful release in 2016, the Manero Flyback has become one of the most popular dress watches in the world.
Available in a range of colours, the 2022 Manero Flyback comes in a 40mm case structure strapped to matching and sustainable textile straps offered in new and different colours: blue, green, red, white, and black. Furthermore, Carl F. Bucherer has collaborated with renowned photographer Hannes Becker to capture the essence of the five colours of the new Manero Flyback collection in Switzerland.

 

IWC Portugieser Automatic

 

 

The new IWC Portugieser Automatic comes in a 42.3mm stainless steel case set with a white and blue dial with blue feuille hands. The layout of the dial comes with contrasting subdials featuring the small seconds at 9 o’ clock and the power reserve display at 3 o’ clock. The watch is powered by the IWC-manufactured 52010 Calibre that clocks in a power reserve of seven days in two barrels.
Strapped to a blue alligator leather strap, the elegant and timeless Portugieser Automatic is immediately available through IWC boutiques, authorised retail partners or online at IWC.com. The watch is also eligible for registration under the My IWC care program, which offers the customer the benefit of a six-year extension to the standard two-year International Limited Warranty.

After the grand success of the 2021 Chronomaster Sport watch, which won the Chronograph prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), Zenith has expanded the award-winning Chronomaster line with gold and two-tone versions —adding a new dimension to this sporty editions. The 41mm model featured here is in 18-karat rose-gold model — a tribute to gold chronographs that have a special place in Zenith’s history and even predate the El Primero.
Because performance and preciousness don’t have to be mutually exclusive, Zenith has crafted the Chronomaster Sport entirely in rose gold —including the bracelet and engraved bezel with 1/10th of a second scale. Attired in grey and blue, a tribute to Mille Miglia — one of the most prestigious of the classic open-road races, the 2022 Race Edition is a masculine and elegant timepiece with mechanical precision and revving ergonomics. The watch is in a 44mm case structure and features a silver-grey dial marked by a delicate circular satin-brushed finish.
Using blue for the hands, hour markers, and bezel further establishes the tribute to the Mille Miglia race. Working within the watch is the chronometer-certified movement clocking in a power reserve of 48 hours.

 

Breitling SuperOcean Automatic Collection

 

 

With the ocean calling, it is time to experience the new SuperOcean from Breitling. For 2022, the Swiss watch brand has redesigned its sporty sea watch. The latest editions are inspired by the original SuperOcean Slow Motion from the 1960s and 1970s, with modern features and a bright palette of colours. The watch is available in four sizes of 46mm, 44mm, 42mm, and 36mm, set with colourful dials paired with three different case materials: steel, steel gold, and bronze.
The special alloy used for the 44 and 42mm bronze models will offer excellent resistance and develop a subtle patina, making it unique. The new models come in two strap options; a sporty rubber strap and a new three-row bracelet. Keeping in tune with its dive watch category, it is water resistant to 300m and houses broad hands and indexes coated with Super-LumiNova that offers exceptional readability. The Breitling Calibre 17 working within the watch clocks in a power reserve of 38 hours.

 

Ulysse Nardin Blast Tourbillon Rainbow

 

 

Making a splash this year into the polychromatic world of neon rainbow settings is the Ulysse Nardin Blast Tourbillion Rainbow. The timepiece was birthed from the Swiss watchmaking brand’s foray into the silicium escapement in 2001. This has resulted in the brand drawing inspiration from its shimmering colours, and presenting the Blast Rainbow watch with the meteor shower of colour.
Limited to 50 pieces, the watch is available in a 45mm case structure made from a Black DLC titanium middle case, and a black skeleton ‘X’ on the dial gives the entire timepiece an extra aesthetic that is hard to come by. Add to this the company of 50 rubies and sapphire baguette gemstones sitting on the bezel and the indexes of the watch, making this a visually powerful watch worn on the wrist. Beating inside this marvellous creation is the automatic flying tourbillion movement — the UN-172 Calibre movement with Silicium technology and a power reserve of 72 hours. The watch is presented in a waterproof velvet rubber or black alligator strap.

Evolving its smartwatch offering for 2022 is Montblanc, with the release of the new Summit 3. Combined with classic fine watchmaking and modern smartwatch technology, the Montblanc Summit 3 expresses elevated luxury. It comes in a hand-crafted lightweight titanium watch case, a plethora of watch faces inspired by Montblanc’s heritage and handmade calf leather and rubber straps.
The watch is powered by the latest version of Wear OS by GoogleTM. This new technology is all set to include a variety of apps that would help meet the needs of all its customers. Another exciting aspect of this watch is how it can be customised and personalised. The timepiece incorporates functions like step tracking, sleep monitoring, different sleep phases, and blood oxygen measurement. The Montblanc Summit 3 collection is home to three versions of the smartwatch — Titanium Grey, Titanium Black, and Titanium Bicolour.

 

Gucci Dive

 

 

Designed with sustainability in mind, the new Gucci Dive collection features four new models made from bio-based materials and recycled steel. The famous brand decided to use plant-derived plastic from renewable sources as its commitment to reducing its environmental footprint and building positive awareness for people and the planet.
These new sporty timepieces are set with a 40mm case attached to a strap made with an innovative rubber-like material consisting of bio-based content: 46 percent for the bracelet and 65 percent for the case. The new editions are available in transparent matte white, aquamarine, or natural moss green watches decorated with unique Gucci accents for the indexes. Powering the watch is a Swiss-made automatic movement that can be viewed via the transparent dial and case back.

 

Hermès Cape Cod Crépuscule

 

 

The year was 1991 when the Cape Cod watch was born under the bold pencil stroke of Henri d’Origny. Taking its signature design codes of a ‘square in rectangle’ case formed by two ‘anchor chain’ half-links, the Cape Cod is all set to welcome a new dial aesthetic for 2022 – the Cape Cod Crépuscule.
Set with a dial made from a silicon wafer that also features the intimate and refined Crépuscule (dusk) motif created by designer-graphic artist Thanh-Phong Lê, the Cape Cod Crépuscule is a unique piece of horology. Entirely chosen for its aesthetic, the silicon wafer dial offers different colours depending on the amount of material deposited during production. This process is carried out by specialised engineers in the CSEM labs.
Powered by a quartz movement, the watch comes in a 29mm rectangular steel case. It is strapped to a navy blue calfskin strap crafted in the Hermès Horloger workshops.

 

BOMBERG BB01 Automatic Cure the Bulldog Black

 

 

BOMBERG has always been known for its long relationship with man’s best friend — the dog. Since its launch in 2012, Bolt in Mexico and Duke & Paulina in Switzerland have been the official brand ambassadors and mascots. After Bolt suffered an episode of stress, BOMBERG sought help from the ‘Bouledogue Attitude Foundation’ in Switzerland. The organisation recommended CBD-based food. Realising the importance of CBD (cannabidol) for the treatment of stressed dogs led to the launch of the first watch to incorporate hemp leaves — the BB01 Automatic Cure the BullDog.
