Long-time friend of OMEGA, George Clooney, and the first Korean Global Ambassador for OMEGA, Hyun Bin, are all set to take the front seat in promoting the Swiss watch brand’s new Speedmaster ’57 collection.
With this new campaign, George Clooney brings his classic style and iconic character to the forefront. His longstanding connection to the brand is further highlighted through this new Speedmaster ’57 campaign. In many ways, Clooney and the Speedmaster share the same story of the beginning their lives in the optimistic years of the space age. Additionally, Hyun Bin, the rising star from South Korea, with his relaxed persona and modern spirit, further establishes the constant evolution of the Speedmaster.

It is a well-known fact that the Speedmaster ’57 represents the original Speedmaster design. It was first released in 1957 and was dedicated to racing car drivers and engineers on the track. Keeping this thought in mind, the recently launched Speedmaster ’57 collection houses eight new watches with similar features.
These include slim style, colourful dial options like green and burgundy, a vintage bracelet, and an innovative Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9906 movement. Signature 1957 details include the brushed metallic bezel with its ‘Dot Over Ninety’ and the famous Broad Arrow hands.
Clooney is wearing the stainless steel model with a PVD blue dial for the shoot while driving a vintage car near his home in Lake Como. The Korean star also shot on location with a classic vehicle in Korea in a typically confident and laidback fashion. For the campaign, Hyun Bin is seen wearing the 40.5mm stainless steel model with a black dial on location with a classic car in Korea.
