Since last year, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Atelier Reverso has made the relationship between a man and his watch even more exclusive, by offering the option of personalising the reverse of the iconic model with a choice of different dials. In 2016, five new dials were specifically designed for the Reverso Classic Large Duo. Atelier Reverso also provides the option of choosing the strap from a multitude of refined shades, in materials such as calfskin, alligator leather, ostrich leather and satin. One simple hand movement releases the strap, so it can be replaced with another, giving the watch a whole new appeal. Even the buckle is easily interchanged.
This year, Atelier Reverso has introduced three new dials to embellish a new men’s model in the Reverso Classic collection, the Reverso Classic Large Duo Small Second – a new masculine colour in the form of electric blue of refined tones, and two new stone dials – and a military-influenced dial in green marble, with a dial in tiger’s eye, a gemstone.
The new timepiece comes in a 47 mm x 28.3 mm x 10.3 mm steel case and is driven by a manually wound mechanical movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. Its front face features a guilloche and brushed dial with hours, minutes and a small seconds indicator. The dial on the reverse, which features the second time zone and 24 hour day/night indicator, has an opaline finish set into the Clous de Paris-patterned guilloché design at 6 o’clock. With this watch JaegerLeCoultre now offers watch lovers the option to choose the design of the dial on the reverse and the strap on the Reverso Classic collection’s Duo, Duo Small Second and Duetto models.
