The titanium watch, with a platinum bezel, is the world’s thinnest automatic perpetual calendar wristwatch. It is just 6.3 mm in height with a movement that is only 2.89 mm thin. To achieve the thinness, the perpetual calendar functions that are normally arranged on three levels have been innovatively merged into one single layer.

This striking 39-mm titanium watch with a prominently visible extra-large balance wheel on a skeleton dial comes from the House of Voutilainen, a boutique luxury watch company set up in 2002 by Finnish master Kari Voutilainen. White gold was only used once in the 1980s for a Royal Oak model with a blue dial and diamond-set hour-markers.
