Part of two new limited edition versions of the original Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin from  2012, it comes in brushed 18K pink gold with matching bracelet, and stainless steel. Powered by the same Audemars Piguet inhouse caliber 2924 hand-wound skeleton movement, but with two very different finishes. Pink gold model (50 pieces) features a pink gold mainplate and bridges, while the steel version (100 pieces) is rhodium-plated in tones. Power reserve of 70 hours.

BVLGARI OCTO FINISSIMO TOURBILLON SKELETON

The Octo Finissimo set the world record in ultra-thinness with its Tourbillon, Minute Repeater and the Automatic versions. This Skeleton model which comes in a 40 mm platinum case achieves the same distinctiveness  in its category of watches. Its Flying Tourbillon, which is just 1.95 mm thick, is completely openworked with a barrel spring that is equipped with a slipping spring, and the tourbillon cage is fitted on a peripherally-driven ultra-thin ball-bearing mechanism that helps achieve 80 per cent energy efficiency. The watch has a 62 hour power reserve.

JAEGER-LECOULTRE HYBRIS ARTISTICA MYSTÉRIEUSE

Part of the brand’s Hybris Artistica line, this limited edition watch (five pieces) stand-out feature is the fact that it indicates time without the traditional hands. The hour is read from the position of the suspended orbital flying tourbillion on the finely worked blue aventurine dial. A discreet arrow indicates the minutes on the flange. ZENITH CHRONOMASTER EL PRIMERO FULL OPEN

Its open worked chronograph reveals the legendary El Primer  integrated automatic columnwheel chronograph calibre, which is responsible for the watch displaying time with tenth-of-a second precision. The date window of the 42 mm version is at 6 o’clock, while the 30-minute counter is at 3 o’clock, the 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, and the small seconds counter at 9 o’clock. HUBLOT BIG BANG BLUE

Limited edition watch (100 pieces) created specially for summer on the beach features under its cerulean skeleton dial, the movement with a self-winding flyback chronograph. It has a power reserve of three days. The 45 mm microblasted case and the bezel is in polished blue ceramic, while the lugs are in white composite resin.

ROTONDE DE CARTIER SKELETON MYSTERIOUS HOUR

With this watch featuring asymmetrical features and skeletonised bridges in the shape of Roman numerals, Cartier has for the first time combined skeleton work and its famous Mysterious movement in the form of calibre 9983 MC. The mystery comes from the fact that the hands are not directly linked to the movement, but are joined to two sapphire discs fitted with teeth around their circumference. These discs, activated by the movement, turn the hands – one disc for the minute hand and the other for the hour. Comes in a 42 mm palladium case. Minimum power reserve of 48 hours.

ROGER DUBUIS EXCALIBUR SPIDER PIRELLI – AUTOMATIC SKELETON

Part of Roger Dubuis’ new collaboration with Italian tyre maker Pirelli, this robust 45 mm skeleton case with its black DLC titanium elements and contrasting blue touches provide a perfect frame for self-winding mechanical Calibre RD820SQ. Power reserve of 60 hours. Limited edition of 88 pieces.

GIRARD-PERREGAUX LAUREATO SKELETON

This watch is a new addition to GP’s enduring Laureato family. It comes in a 42 mm case in stainless steel or 18K pink gold case. Positioned at 12 o’clock amid elegantly filigree worked metal structure, the automatic Calibre GP01800-0006 has undergone extensive skeleton craftsmanship. It has a power reserve of 54 hours. The small seconds hand is at 1.

RADO TRUE PHOSPO

Designed in collaboration with the Swiss design studio Big-Game, this watch features a black brass dial that is perforated, allowing a glimpse of the automatic movement below. The perforations also feature luminescent indexes in geometric shapes. This model comes in a 40 mm matt black high-tech ceramic case with matching bracelet. The watch is limited to 1003 pieces – 1000 for the general public, and one for each of the designers.

HYT H4 NEO

The fluid powered watch features under its dome at 6 o’clock two purple LEDs. Once activated, they flood the entire dial with light.
