Just when you thought things couldn’t get any weirder, here comes another piece of news. The man behind the idea of a Fellatio Café in Switzerland has recently come up with another idea, but this time, it’s for Londoners. Bradley Charvet, whose idea is based off Thailand’s blowjob bars, now plans to open a café for all men who wish to order a cup of coffee and an escort. And here’s the weird bit: the escorts are all going to be robots.

If you’re wondering why he prefers robots to human beings, he stated in an interview to Inverse about how, “Brothels with human workers in London are not legal. Robots were not a choice. And it’s not ridiculous to think about this idea right now. You could not imagine how many people are ready to give sex robots a try in 2016. We asked thousands of potential customers and they were very curious and eager. There is an opportunity in being the first to provide that service”.

Making use of robots also gives him an opportunity to expand his business in other countries where sex work legislation is less permissive.  He’s also decided the menu of the café, which will be open from 6 a.m to 11 p.m and will serve coffee, sex and some pastries.

On being asked if he plans to include male robots to serve other genders and sexualities, he replied, “At the moment, we don’t have an expected date for that, but it is in the works. FaceGirl is going to develop the first Café Pipe. Bumpix is going to develop the second one in London. It’s going to be huge. We would like to open it in Paddington. There will probably be decisions to make on that front soon. We’ll see if it happens”.

He also discussed in length about the pricing and that he, in no way, wishes to upset sex workers. He states how, “Sex workers are suffering because so many people offer low price services. We respect them and don’t want to oppose their interests”.
