Casio marks its latest collaboration with Honda Racing with its new Edifice model—the Honda Racing Championship White Edition (ECB-S100HR). This new Casio watch sits in tune with the Edifice line of high-performance metal chronograph watches based on the brand concept of “Speed and Intelligence”

The Collaboration Between Casio and Honda Racing

The collaboration between Casio and Honda Racing began in 2018. Honda Racing refers to the motorsports activities that Hinda Motor Co. Ltd. pursues worldwide. With both the brands tracing back their origin to Japan, the partnership has evolved with time. Both the brands share a mutual dedication to leveraging high-tech capabilities in their global quests. The newly released Casio Edifice Honda Racing Championship White Edition is one example.

Casio Edifice Honda Racing Championship White Edition: About the Watch

The design language of the new watch pays tribute to Honda’s distinguished history and achievements in the F1 race. The timepiece is deeply inspired by the Honda RA271—the first car from the Japanese automaker that participated in an F1 race back in 1964. Flaunting its white body and a rising red sun, the RA271’s body colour, also called “Championship White”, became a symbol of Honda’s racing spirit.

The Casio Edifice Honda Racing Championship White Edition timepiece takes this symbol and inculcates it in the design code of the entire watch. From the outer ring dial finished with authentic Championship White paint to the inset dial and buttons accented with red, each part of the watch is a tribute to the RA271’s body colour. The presence of a checkered flag on the periphery of the glass and the genuine leather band in two-tone colour schemes is reminiscent of Honda’s victories.

The timepiece houses the latest Casio features in terms of its performance. These include the Tough Solar Power System, Bluetooth connectivity, high-luminosity LED light, smartphone connection facilities that can be used via an app.
