Available in a 44mm steel case, the watch comes in two distinctive colour palettes. The first is based on a lively blue sun-brushed dial strapped to an alligator strap of the same colour (PAM01361). The second edition is set with a matte black dial with a matching alligator strap (PAM01360). Both of these watches are equipped with a GMT function that showcases time in a second-time zone with a cerulean blue hand that allows for instant visibility and reading. The presence of a subdial at 5 o’clock with a bright blue hand is a power reserve indicator that clocks 72 hours when fully wound. One fascinating feature of this particular Luminor edition is the presence of a larger date window at 3 o’clock with a beveled aperture — a feature that will be appearing on all future models. The dial also houses Italian text apart from the usual brand name we see on Panerai watches. This includes the name of the watch which refers to the timepiece’s GMT function and the word “ore” which indicates the hours remaining in the power reserve.

The 2022 Panerai Luminor BiTempo is powered by the automatic Calibre P.9012 movement that can be viewed via the sapphire crystal display case back. This self-winding movement allows the watch to offer time, power reserve, GMT 12 Hours and a stop seconds reset function. Strapped to a blue or black alligator leather strap, each of the two editions also comes with an additional rubber strap and a tool to allow interchangeability of the straps, and a screwdriver for removing the buckle.
