After the great releases showcased a few weeks ago at OMEGA Days 2022, the Swiss watch brand has blown our minds again with the release of its new range of Moonwatch watches in collaboration with Swatch, aka the MoonSwatch. 

This design partnership – a first for OMEGA and Swatch – symbolises the beauty in a collaboration that creates innovative new products that blend the best of both the world of luxury and street brands. The new models of the Bioceramic MoonSwatch Speedmaster collection are made from Swatch’s patented Bioceramic material. They are available in a range of colourful versions that embody celestial bodies like the moon, sun and planets. 

“OMEGA’s long and distinguished history may have been cut short if it wasn’t for the vision and the courage taken by Swatch. The MoonSwatch collection salutes the saviours of our industry in a witty and accessible way. The Swatches are perfect for budding Moonwatch fans and I can’t think of a more appropriate icon for our shared project. We went to the moon, now we’re exploring the whole Milky Way. Each colourful piece from the Bioceramic MoonSwatch Speedmaster collection is equipped with the key Moonwatch designs, including an asymmetrical case, the famous tachymeter scale with a dot over ninety, and the distinctive Speedmaster subdials. Each MoonSwatch also houses its mission statement, an inspiration engraving, and the joint OMEGA and Swatch logos on the dial and crown. On the caseback, the battery cover depicts the celestial being the watch represents. 

All eleven different models of the Bioceramic MoonSwatch Speedmaster collection are available in VELCRO strap that adds the final touch of astronaut chic.
