Air-King

A tribute to the explorers of the skies, this new-generation Air-King features a professional appearance featuring a 40mm redesigned case and a winding crown guard. Constructed entirely with Oystersteel, the case is set with an aviation-inspired black dial with luminescent filled hands, triangular hour marker at 12 o’ clock and numerals like 3, 6 and 9. The green seconds hand echoes the brand’s emblematic colour.

The watch is powered by the updated Calibre 3230 that clocks in a power reserve of 70 hours.

GMT-Master II

One of the standout releases of 2022 is the Rolex GMT-Master II. Featuring a crown on the left side of the case and a green and black bezel insert, the timepiece echoes the GMT-Master created in 1955. Apart from the crown sitting on the left side of the 40mm Oystersteel case, one of the timepiece’s most elegant feature is the Cerachrom bezel that combines the colours green and black – a combination inspired by the original timepieces.

The GMT-Master II is equipped with Calibre 3285 – which is labelled as a “new-generation movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex”. It clocks in a power reserve of 70 hours and has 10 patents filed. The watch is available with an Oyster or Jubilee bracelet.

Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 40

As the pinnacle for Rolex’s popular and classy watches, the new Day-Date 40 is now available in a 950-platinum case featuring a fluted bezel that is crafted from the same precious material (earlier made in gold) – a first for Rolex.

The watch comes in an ice-blue dial that works perfectly against the cold feel of the 950-platinum case. Further adding to the ice-blue aesthetic of the watch is the blue seconds hand and Roman numerals and hour markers in 18K white gold.

The 2022 Day-Date 40 is equipped with calibre 3255, a movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex that was unveiled on the model in 2015.

Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 42 and 40

A refinement of the emblematic sailing timepieces, Rolex’s new Yacht-Master 42 is now available in an 18K yellow gold case set with a black lacquer dial, a black Oysterflec bracelet and a bidirectional rotatable bezel with matte black Cerachrom insert.

Another addition to the Yacht-Master line is the new Yacht-Master 40 with an 18K white gold case featuring a colourful sapphire and diamond set bezel along with a sparkly diamond-set lugs and crown guard.

Both the watches are equipped with the Calibre 3235 that clocks in a power reserve of 70 hours and has been powering the Yacht-Master 42 series for three years.

Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31

Rolex rounds off its 2022 watches with the release of its Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 featuring floral-motif dials decorated with three different finishes – sunray, matt and grained. These textural effects of the floral motifs on the dial are further enhanced with the help of 24 diamonds of different sizes sitting at the centre of each flower.

The 2022 Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 is available in three versions. First up is a white Rolesor version – combining Oystersteel and white gold – with an azzurro-blue, floral-motif dial, a fluted bezel and an Oyster bracelet. There’s also an 18 ct yellow gold version with an olive-green, floral-motif dial, a bezel set with 46 brilliant-cut diamonds and a President bracelet. Rolex is also offering an Everose Rolesor version – combining Oystersteel and Everose gold – with a silver, floral-motif dial, a bezel set with 46 brilliant-cut diamonds and a Jubilee bracelet.
