Goyal added that the aim of the brand was to evoke the feeling of home and celebrate Indian roots across the world. Echoing him, Chopra said that she believed Sona Home will help bring family and friends come together and build a community. In the video, she’s heard talking about her experiences as a migrant in the US. “I left my roots behind, but I found you and my friends here and family here. You guys here are the family I’ve chosen and this is my adoptive country.”
“I bring a piece of India into everything I do and this is an extension of that thought,” the actor said, referring to what inspired her new brand.
In another Instagram post, she shared several images from the launch, which includes pictures of glassware, dinnerware, table linens, bar and décor items.
Coming to the work front, Chopra recently wrapped up her upcoming Amazon Prime Video series Citadel. She will be next seen in Farhan Akhtar’s film Jee Le Zaraa alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, though that are some talks of that project being put on hold.
