Louis Vuitton has unveiled its latest menswear summer capsule collection. Creative Director Virgil Abloh’s latest inspiration for the collection was American rapper 21 Savage’s cool and casual energy.
Set in the Venice Beach area, the campaign unveils pastel-coloured suits, Hawaiian shorts and shirts, it covers Japanese denim and monogrammed cotton with pop watercolour hues. At twilight, it casts its bluish light on short suits and indigo pyjamas.
This year’s summer capsule collection features embroidered shirts, light denim plastrons, lightweight leather blousons, jacquard blazers and multi-coloured windbreakers, all of them convey emotions diffused with a sort of joyful nostalgia mingling with a sense of endless possibilities.
Accessories further brighten up the collection with keepalls, backpacks, totes, and sailor bags that showcase the colourful monogram. Masks with matching cotton and silk bandanas also have a similar monogram. Additional accessories range from enamelled rings and multicoloured link bracelets to caps, sunglasses, sneakers and mules, and beyond.
