Louis Vuitton Unveils A New Restaurant
Now, Louis Vuitton Loyalists Can Dine At The French Maison’s Own Restaurant

The restaurant, which opened on June 17, will be headed by Mory Sacko, the chef behind Michelin-starred MoSuke in Paris

Louis Vuitton is ready to take over the fine-dining space with its latest launch in France. Venturing into the hospitality industry, the French luxury maison is opening a restaurant in the French Riviera – Saint Tropez

The restaurant will be headed by Mory Sacko, the chef behind the Michelin- starred MoSuke restaurant in Paris. Known as Mory Sacko at Louis Vuitton, the restaurant is a 40-seat spot with outdoor dining will be located at the White 1921 hotel. African and Japanese influences meet the savoir-faire of French
cuisine on a globe-trotting menu that is underpinned by meticulous precision.

Sacko has created a travel-inspired menu, combining local produce with far- flung inspiration. For lunch, she has proposed a gourmet take on ekiben, the famous Japanese meal tray found at stations and on trains. Creative, summery flavours are presented on a custom-made wooden tray designed by the chef and displayed in glass containers embellished with preserved flowers and foliage.

In the evening, the menu continues its voyage of flavours with a tapas menu and traditional plate service. Egg ‘misonnaise’, vegetarian aubergine tacos, a selection of grilled amberjack, crayfish, prime rib, rich tagines presented in ceramic dishes, accompanied by raw fennel and mango salad, plantain spiced
with smoked paprika. At Mory Sacko at Louis Vuitton, local and largely plant- based cuisine is set against the backdrop of distant destinations, blending authenticity with simplicity.
Resonating the codes of Louis Vuitton, the decor of the restaurant was painstakingly designed in collaboration with Sacko. Behind the ethereal Moongate, which itself is a work of art, travertine, wood, rope and rattan set the tone for the venue, which is adorned with Monogram flowers and specially
redesigned Objets Nomades. This striking architectural statement, designed along with the chef, rekindles the magical feeling of a holiday on the Mediterranean coast, blending tranquillity, fresh air and light.
The restaurant was opened on June 17.
