For those of you who miss the SEGA gaming system, Gucci has something for you. In their latest SS18 collection, the luxury brand presents sneakers which are inspired by the SEGA gaming icon. Designed with a thick sole and bulky construction, the leather sneaker embodies the 90s influence pervading the Pre-Fall 2018 collection. Displayed in the graphic font of SEGA—a fixture in the colourful arcades and coin-op game rooms of the eighties— the Gucci logo is printed on the side.

First seen in the Spring-Summer 2018 show, the Gucci logo was presented in SEGA’S graphic font as a homage to eighties video gaming culture. This was again seen on shoes as part of the Fall-Winter 2018 show.
