Brad Pitt And Other Celebrities Who Have Sported Skirts
Celebs Who Set Gender-Fluid Style Goals Before Brad Pitt Debuted Linen Skirt On The Red Carpet

Brad Pitt was spotted wearing a skirt for the premiere of his upcoming film, Bullet Train

On an international promo tour for his film, Bullet Train, Brad Pitt recently wore a linen skirt on the red carpet for the film’s premiere in Berlin. Going for earthy neutral tones, the actor opted for a dark brown linen skirt with a matching jacket and paired it with a rose pink shirt. Pitt rounded it off with a pair of combat boots, some layered neck pieces and his signature sunglasses.

Androgynous fashion has been catching on gradually but when Pitt casually debuts his version of it, it will naturally be a big deal. But, he isn’t the only actor going for skirts over suits. Many actors have perfected their interpretation of skirts by experimenting with styling and accessorising.

Earlier this year, Oscar Isaac went for a grey pleated skirt on the red carpet for the Moon Knight premiere. Harry Styles has been known for his experiments with fluid silhouettes at his concerts, on magazine covers and even on red carpets. Similarly, Jared Leto and Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele has been sporting skirts for years, now. Lil Nas X, Billy Porter and Marc Jacobs have been wearing skirts on the red carpet and absolutely nailing the look, every single time.

Coming to Indian celebrities, Ranveer Singh has been the epitome of androgynous fashion. The actor was the first of the many to actually wear a skirt at his film premiers. Jim Sarbh was also spotted in a lace blouse with a skirt while Ayushmann Khurrana paired the skirt with a traditional bandhgala.

It’s 2020 and we are here for men to take over skirts.
