With Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe’s contract coming to an end in 2022, there has been plenty of talk around whether he will sign an extension.
According to ESPN, Mbappe, who scored a hat trick in last week’s Champions League first-leg win at Barcelona, said he is “happy” at PSG but that it would be “stupid to decide my future on a single match.”

But according to Foot Mercato, PSG would have to put in certain demands in Mbappe’s new contract if they want to keep him.
It is suggested the Frenchman wants to be near or equal to teammate Neymar’s monthly wage of €3 million, while the striker also wants a clause that will allow him to leave if certain clubs come knocking.
Among the clubs that have been linked with Mbappe include Real Madrid and Liverpool.
Mbappe has netted a staggering 106 goals and added 54 assists in 148 appearances for PSG.
Only Robert Lewandowski (186) and Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi (206) have registered more goal involvements than him since his debut for the club in September, 2017.
Neymar, meanwhile, has continued his fine form this season, netting six goals in ten Ligue 1 appearances this term.
And Mbappe believes his teammate is now “the best player in the world”.
“Neymar knows how to do everything,” Mbappe added. “He’s the best in the world.
“When he arrived in Paris, we realized everything he could do. He’s not a player simply for putting on a show and dancing when you’re winning 5-0. He also knows how to do spectacular things at 0-0.
“I don’t know if everyone is aware, but Neymar understands everything. He has an instinct that makes him know how to do everything straight away.”
