Globehunters, an online travel agency, has compiled a list of the world’s 45 most popular airports and has ranked them according to the suitability of business travellers.
Japan’s Narita International Airport in Tokyo topped the list, and Los Angeles International Airport ranked second. It also features two airports from India – Mumbai’s International Airport and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. The former scored 4 out of 5 stars, whereas the latter scored 3 stars.
the online portal took several factors in account such as time-arrival performance, number of airlines and destination served, number of lounges, the price of airport parking per day and to name a few.
Frankfurt Airport in Germany, Amsterdam Schipol Airport in the Netherlands and George Bush Intercontinental Airport in the USA came third, fourth and fifth respectively.
The airports featured from India are two of the busiest airports in the country.
