Tata Digital has come up with a new today called the Tata Neu. Termed by the company as a ‘super-app,’ it houses the brand’s impressive catalogue of products.
This includes services from AirAsia India, BigBasket, Croma, IHCL, Qmin, Starbucks, Tata 1mg, Tata CLiQ, Tata Play, and Westside. To make the deal sweeter, Tata has also bundled in a customer loyalty program, with benefits like free deliveries, exclusive offers, a built-in credit line, early access to product launches brand-specific privileges and more.
A statement released by Tata read, “From fashion to finance, gadgets to groceries, hotels to health, and tech to travel, Tata Neu brings together diverse offerings, combining the power of various consumer brands of the Tata Group to deliver a superior experience. Tata Neu is a one-stop destination for all consumer needs. The super-app also offers a suite of financial offerings including UPI, bill payments, loans, and insurance,”

Further elaborating on their reward programme, the company also added, “Through NeuPass, members can earn 5 per cent NeuCoins or more every time they shop, dine, or travel via Tata Neu. One NeuCoin equals Rs 1, and consumers enjoy limitless freedom to earn NeuCoins on all categories and spend these NeuCoins across any category,”
The company tested the app for a year, before debuting it in the highly-competitive e-commerce space. With new acquisitions like BigBasket and 1Mg, along with its existing portfolio, Tata does have the potential to take the fight to Amazon and Flipkart.
With a customer base of around 120 million users and 2,500 offline stores, we expect Neu to have smooth sailing in the market.
